Acting Workshop with Virginia Children’s Theatre

Take to the stage with Virginia Children’s Theatre!

Join us as VCT’s educators lead an Acting Practical Performance Workshop on the Art Venture Cox Communications Stage.

Your kiddos will learn how to “perform like a pro” in this one-hour foundational level workshop. It’s a perfect introduction to theatre for all ages, so parents and guardians are welcome to join in as well.

Students will learn how to think and act creatively by employing originality, imagination, and expression (both physically, emotionally, and verbally) in a performance setting.

The workshop is free with the purchase of admission to Art Venture, the Museum’s interactive art and creativity center featuring 14 hands-on stations.

All-day admission to Art Venture is $5 per person and free for youth 23 months and younger. Museum members also enjoy free Art Venture admission.
