Be among the first to experience Eternally New: The Art Nouveau World of Alphonse Mucha, an original new exhibition with works on loan from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts along with the U.S. debut of an immersive art experience from the Grand Palais Immersif in Paris.
The Taubman Museum of Art is the first museum outside of Europe to showcase the immersive, kicking off an American tour.
The Opening Celebration is your opportunity to enjoy the splendor of an exhibition opening featuring masterworks by Alphonse Mucha, one of the most celebrated and influential artists of the 20th century.
Known as the father of Art Nouveau, or “new art,” an international style of art and architecture that exploded in Paris at the turn of the 20th-century, Mucha’s work went on to influence the likes of the Grateful Dead and even manga artists of today.
Featuring live music, drinks, open galleries, performances, red carpet photo opps, selfie and sketching stations, and much more, this is an evening you don’t want to miss!

The immersive experience is organized by the Grand Palais Immersif and Mucha Foundation. TechnicoFlor is responsible for the creation of the olfactory experience.
