Experience Art
Jul 05, 2024 – Sep 15, 2024
Experience Art is an interactive exhibition that engages the viewer with a selection of works from the Taubman Museum of Art’s Permanent Collection and Sharing Collection, providing opportunities of exploration and accessibility through four of the five senses, including sight, scent, sound, and touch.
Each work of art is accompanied by a tactile experience and audio component, encouraging the visitor to engage and immerse themselves within the exhibition. Listen to music as you gaze at musicians, smell the scent of flowers while enjoying a 3-dimensional replica of a still-life painting, feel the layers of composition in a contemporary work of art.
This exhibition explores accessibility in art experiences and welcomes all visitors.
Experience Art is on view in the David R. and Susan S. Goode Gallery.
