Book Adventure in Art Venture

Families are invited to enjoy a book adventure with the Roanoke Public Library in Art Venture!
The books selected for this story time are inspired by our exhibition, Rimer Cardillo … and the deep ecology of sacred nature.
Books include Froodle! by Antoinette Portis, Mel Fell by Corey R. Taylor, and Telephone by Mac Barnett.
You’ll sing, read books, make nature-inspired crafts, and explore the many different hands-on stations in the Museum’s fun, interactive, creativity gallery for youth and families.
Visitors to Art Venture can paint, draw, build, connect music with art, investigate 3D printing and printmaking, create sculptures, display artwork, and much more. Stations are designed to engage families with children ages 12 months to 17 years of age.
$5 per person | Free for children 23 months and younger | Members free | Chaperone/childcare provider free under Family Membership
No registration required – walk-ins welcome!
